I took this at Karumba in the Gulf of Carpentaria . The Tavern is called the Sunset Tavern for obvious reason. Beautiful fishing village in Queensland Australia.Time
We had a full day of fishing and wanted to relax with a cool drink and watch the sun go down. My camera is never far awayLighting
I had only just bought this camera my first digital. Before this it was 35mm F70. Very hard to give up! I was simply playing with it getting use to the controls.( aperture priority.) I was hooked on Digital about a second after I took this photo. It was natural lighting aperture priority. Always my preferred preference.Equipment
You are going to laugh. Just sitting at a table picked it up and shoot.Inspiration
A lot of people got up from there tables to take a sunset photo. I thought it would be more interesting with something in the foreground. I like a photo that tells a good story.Editing
At the time of taking this photo I didn't have photo shop. I may have touched it a little when I did finally got nut I am not sure. I think it was just in camera what you see is what you get.In my camera bag
I don’t take a lot of equipment with me these days I like to travel light. 24mm 50mm and a 200mm tripod is a must, and a couple of filters, UV and polariser. This fits into my backpack nicely.Feedback
Lots of room for improvement, keep going back play with you camera. Use all the funtions. I like aperture priority.
