Behind The Lens

Location

I’d gone out exploring for the morning and came across a rather enchanting nature reserve in Albany WA.

Time

This shot was taken around 11am ,the sun was out but slightly clouded day, however natural lighting offered fabulous unique shadows and feel to the image

Lighting

No lighting was used the natural balance of cloud coverage and sunshine gave perfect lighting conditions to capture this beautiful image

Equipment

Camera used canon eos 300d No flash No tripod 18-55 mm lens Aperture f5/0 ISO 100 Shutter 1/160

Inspiration

You see something and you visually imagine that image captured in your head. The balance between light and shade the shapes of the trees and overall composition. The natural foliage and light made for a perfect shot

Editing

Minimal post processing straight of the camera using light room presets. Contrast, highlights and shadow were used .

In my camera bag

Two camera bodies with one being full frame and one back up body. A range of lenses from nifty fifty to 120/400 sigma lens Filters, spare batteries and/Cf cards. Waterproof camera cover Lens cleaning kit.

Feedback

My advice is go out explore change your camera settings and experiment. Get to know your camera and your passion for photography, each individual photographer has their own style and image concept in their vision just enjoy the moments
