This photo was taken after a long walk from a car park to the beach in North Devon. It was wet and miserable, the rocks that lead up to this feature can be covered by the tide, they are covered in barnacles and they are wet and slippery. I got into a suitable position and took a series of pictures on my Canon 6D. I did not like any of the images. I took a couple of shots on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. They were better but lacked punch. I went home and edited the iPhone photo using Photoleap to alter the background sky. It now looked like a photo that I could be proud of.Time
This was taken at about 3pm on a wet afternoonLighting
It was grey, cloudy and miserable - I used no external lighting.Equipment

I love nature, I had seen other photos of this place and wanted to do my version of it.Editing
Yes post processing was done using an app called photo leap, It allows you to erase areas that do not work and has sky backgrounds that an add to the original image. In my camera bag
Camera x 2, lens - usually 3 or 4, tripod, spare batteries, spare sd cards.Feedback
Dont be disappointed if it doesn't look good, I thought I had wasted a day out to get 5 or 6 shots that were bland. This photo has now won 3 awards.
