Location
This was taken across from an apartment complex. There's this little gem of land that has wonderful old, western-like shacks and things.Time
Hm.. It's an oldie... Maybe late morning to noon sometime?Lighting
All natural!Equipment
This was shot with my first camera, a Canon Rebel xsi, and the standard 18-55mm lens.Inspiration
As [almost] always, what was right in front of me. It was wonderful and fascinating, with a great feeling of an old western town, so I had to capture it!Editing
Nearly all my post-processing is done is Lightroom. I decided to make this sepia-toned, because it felt like something I might see in a book about the old west, where the photos are browns and greys. In my camera bag
Now, Canon 5D MKII; lenses- 1.8 24mm, 1.8 85mm; Speedlite 430 EX II flash. Not much, I'd love more.. [zoom lenses..! haha], but I get by with what I do.Feedback
Be inspired. haha. That's vague, and broad. But really, it's the truth. I love the west, and old westerns [Tombstone!]. And seeing this took my mind there, made me want to capture it. So inspiration from all of your passions :)
