Location
This was taken in the evening at a popular park known as High Park which is located in Toronto, ON, Canada.Time
We scheduled a quick photoshoot to catch the specific lighting you see in the photo, i preferably wanted enough time to travel between sceneries of the park in enough time to catch the beginning - end of the sunset. This was taken on September 4th 2019 at 7:35pm.Lighting
I am a huge fan of shooting raw, being able to capture all the texture and the shadows and highlights in every image, and the contrast of colours. Something to be aware of is the contrast of lighting between the distance of your camera/subject/background.. Being able to tell what or how you want a picture to look is great, but being able to work with what's in front of you is even better, because at that point you're able to do all at the same time!Equipment
Nikon D750 24-120mm f4.Inspiration
Inspiration came from the scenery, how beautiful nature looks and the height of my subject in the photo seemed to appeal to me at that moment.Editing
I used Lightroom, usually i don't really do any post processing work on my photos, i had just turned down my highlights to fully capture the pink in the sky and turned up my shadows to capture the bushes. In my camera bag
If i'm on the go i usually just carry either my 35mm 1.8 or my 24-120mm f4, it really depends on where i am going but those i'd say are my main lenses i love working with.Feedback
Practice shooting in low light! Exposure is a wonderful thing to play around with/be aware of.
