Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in Barcelona. At the ruins of an old casino, builded in 1899. In Arrabassada mountain

Time

It was a great session. The model was sensational. We spent a lot of time looking for the best place and trying to adopt all the postures that came to my mind. The good humor of the model and the fantastic weather made a very fun session. Since then I have worked many times with this model. Both his physique and his predisposition and professionalism are perfect for working at ease.

Lighting

It was complicated. It wasn’t the best time to do the session and a sun too powerful made it difficult for me to get the idea. In addition the shadows produced by the sun with the leaves did not always help.

Equipment

My camera, a tripod I use little and two lenses.

Inspiration

I was really looking forward to doing a male nude session. Capturing the body, the expression but without distilling eroticism. It wasn’t easy, but I think with that model I got it. His expression and movements allowed me quite a bit.

Editing

This image has post-production. I always like being able to finish polishing the details and leave it exactly as I wanted it
