Behind The Lens

Location

Central VA right after a storm. My friends were driving and we had the sunroof open and I snapped the picture.

Time

It was around 6:00 pm during March QT. I defied the odds and went down to VA to see my friends and at the time boyfriend and it is a constant reminder of the storm to come.

Lighting

I wanted it to look like something was brewing and little did we know... it was!

Equipment

My iPhone.

Inspiration

I just looked at it and said “wow” and then snapped the picture. I remember feeling like it was just stunning.

Editing

I used an editing program on my phone and literally decided to play around with the exposure and selected different parts of the photo subject versus background

In my camera bag

My cannon, t-rebel 500 a few lenses and that’s really it.
