Behind The Lens

Location

This photo is made in the lavender fields of Brihuega in Guadalaja, Spain. I got up early to take the photo at sunrise

Time

I got up early to take the photo at sunrise to get there before the sun came up, it should be 7:00 am

Lighting

What better light than the one that the sun gives us at dawn ...

Equipment

I used my Sony A7K camera with the standard 28-70 lens from the kit

Inspiration

For a long time I wanted to go to this magical place, I chose the sunrise because afterwards there is too much gemte, it is an iconic place in the area. Without saying anything to anyone, I got up around 5:00 a.m. and decided that that was the day

Editing

The processing was very simple, a little contrast and saturation, highlight shadows and little else, all the work done with darktable

In my camera bag

In my backpack I usually carry a sony 24-240 f3.5 - 6.3 lens, a Sigma 85mm 1.4 ART lens, the Sony 28-70 kit lens, a couple of flashes, the tripod and some ND filters. A very simple team

Feedback

My advice is to contemplate the beauty of nature and shoot to show the world what your point of view is. Then the technique helps you make it more beautiful, look at manuals and take trial and error shots
