Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken at home taking advantage of a beautiful moment with the two cats. They're brothers and have been inseparable since birth. Unfortunately one of them passed away shortly after.

Time

The photo was taken during the early morning hours while they were sleeping in the sun.

Lighting

The lighting is all natural through big windows letting in a lot of sunlight.

The photo was shot on an iPhone XS Max with Aperture f/1.8, ISO 250, Shutter 1/60, Focal Length 4.25/1

Inspiration

It was such a beautiful intimate moment between the two, I simply had to take the picture. I am so glad I did, as it turned out to be a very precious moment.

Editing

The photo is as it was taken. No additional post-processing was done besides a crop.

In my camera bag

I have a Canon 5D MK II and usually shoot on that with official photo sessions. I have a few lenses I use depending on the situation. This particular moment I only had time to grab my phone to take the picture.

Feedback

Just seize the moment and keep an eye out for natural moments, especially with animals. You never know when they might do something that makes you smile.
