Blue is my favorite colour. So coming to Hitachi seaside park was a must. Park is famous for 2 main events. In Autumn they have a beautiful field of fiery red Kochia and in Spring, a dreamy hill full of millions and millions of Baby blue eyes (Nemophila sp.).

Beautiful shot. Amazing how beautiful that park looks. I hope you post a photo when the red flowers are blooming.

Hitachi seaside park in Japan.Time

Not really. Just natural light from a sun.Equipment
Tripod, Tamron 24-70, ND filter, Canon 6DInspiration
I was aware of this location and envisioning this photo for years. It finally happened on my travel to Japan in 2018.Editing
Yes. Those hills are full of people on a normal day. So I used ND filter and long exposure to average them out at least a bit. That was not enough so I started to take a sequence of dozens of photos which I combined in PS to finally remove all the people. I also substituted the sky since it was clear and boring, removed a couple of distracting elements and covered a couple of holes in flower carpet. In my camera bag

Check blooming dates and be early. If possible even arrange private access, since no matter how early you are, there will still be a lot of people in the park.
