Location
The photo was taken in Lohagad Fort in Maharashtra. I am a self taught photographer and I love Travel photographyTime
This was taken at around 11 am. To reach the top portion of the Fort we have to climb so many steps. Me and my friends were almost got exhausted to reach to this place. I saw grandeur just the way it looks from here to the entrance. And that's what made me to click.Lighting
Since it's an outdoor shot and as we can it is totally exposed to direct sunlight. I just reduced the exposure in my camera settings. I felt the clouds could make a big difference if I could play with the shutter speed and it worked out pretty well.Equipment
This was shot on Sony alpha a7riii with 16-35mm f/2.8 lens. No other equipment was involved.Inspiration
I saw grandeur just the way it looks from here to the entrance. And that's what made me to click this. I didn't want to remove the people in the photo just to be real and also because they weren't causing any disturbance to my picture.Editing
I used Snapseed application to edit this picture. As I said, I got the clouds the way I want, I didn't want to remove people in it, so there is nothing much I could do. Just increased the saturation in the sky to get the drama effect. In my camera bag
My camera bag has Sony alpha a7riii gear with 18-105mm f/4 lens, 50mm f/1.8 lens and 55-210mm kit lens. The other main lens I usually carry is 16-35mm f/2.8 G-master lens.Feedback
Lohagad Fort is a beautiful place to click pictures. The views from the top of the fort are also stunning. Just be careful and keep the camera bag for yourself as this place is full of monkeys.
