This is a very popular spot. I've got several shots of these falls from different angles. One of them is almost in this exact spot (minus the tree)

Location
This photo was taken in June of 2017 looking from the Inspiration viewpoint in Yellowstone National Park. It shows the Yellowstone river forming the so called Lower Falls.Time
The photo was at 11 AM and a bright and sunny day.Lighting
The lighting was a bit harsh but there was not a lot I could do about it.Equipment
On this day I only had my Canon EOS M10 with me as I was not out shooting ( but always carry a camera ) My EXIF of the shot ISO200 21mm focal f/5.6 1/1000secInspiration
There is not a lot to say. It is impossible to look at a scene like this and NOT take a photo. Absolutely stunning sceneryEditing
A simple RAW to JPEG edit in LR. Exposure was ok but I did dehaze a bit and bumped up the saturation in certain areas slightlyIn my camera bag
I usually shoot wildlife and landscape with a APSC Canon ( 80D ) and I either use a Canon 10-18mm or one of my sigma lenses ( 18-35, 105mm or my 150-600mm )Feedback
If you are planning to do this shot ahead then bring a sturdy tripod, get there early, use a remote or 2sec delay to avoid shake and apply a gradient filter to tone down the light from the sky a bit.
