As most nights, you can find me sitting at the lake waiting for the evening sunset, and that is when this picture was taken...

Lighting

Just nature's lighting at it's finest

Equipment

I shoot with a Canon Power Shot SX 60, held by hand, no tripod, no big fancy equipment, you don't need it.

Inspiration

Depression, going through a divorce some years ago and to keep my mind busy, I started walking the local Metro parks and always made sure I carried a camera and shot a ton of pictures. I grew up on this lake and use to watch the sunsets every night, started shooting them some time ago to share the beauty of the lake..

Editing

I do not edit any of my pictures, other than some cropping, but my camera does have a vivid setting that I use whenever I shoot a sunrise or sunset, brings out more of the colors

In my camera bag

My camera and a few extra batteries. I do have a few filters but find I never use them

Feedback

Clouds always make the best sunsets, the reflections of colors radiating from the clouds, be patient, just have to be there when it happens. If it looks like there will be no color to the sunset, just wait 5 minutes you will be surprised
