Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the Jedediah Smith State Park known as Stout Grove

Time

It was around mid day enjoying the canopy of the giants.

Lighting

The lighting was what it was. There sun was not directly over where the photo was taken into the canopy, and being in the Pacific Northwest, its rather foggy. I wanted to capture the mystique of fog and giants.

Equipment

Simply put, it was a smart phone. I believe I had a Samsung S7 when I took this photo.

Inspiration

The breath taking size of these giant trees is something of dreams and fairytales. Since it can be difficult to capture the essence of the size so closely with these beautiful creations, I laid on the ground and that is what

Editing

I just turned up the contrast just slightly.

In my camera bag

I use a Sony D50, and. Cannon that I borrow from a family member. I cant recall the model.
