Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo end of December 2009, This was on the beach somewhere in Santa Cruz. I went on a budget vacation and went to visit friends in Southern bay area, it was just a great time with friends exploring the many coastal cities of Northern California, and always looked towards the sunset when I can.

Time

This was a day spent in Santa Cruz, went on the boardwalk, walked the coastline, the sun was beginning to set, in the afternoon.

Lighting

This was one of many photos I took of the sunsetting, this one had the natural contrast I wanted in the photo.

Equipment

at the time I had a Olympus Evolt E-500 DSLR, and a Medium Grade Olympus Lense.

Inspiration

I always had a love for sunset /sunsetting photos, and always try to take as many as possible

Editing

very light contrast and saturation editing if necessary

I've used a variety of cameras, I currently have a Sony A6000 which I plan to accessorize, But Ive used several Canon Rebels, Nikon D series, and other various
