Location
This photo was taken at Stanley park Vancouver, Canada. The park has many flowers and ponds to explore.Time
This phot was taken at close to sunset because the daisy was starting to close up right at dusk so I didn't have much time before it would completely close up.Lighting
It was right at dusk and there was no other lighting available because it was a big nature park. I just had natural lighting to deal with.Equipment
I used my Canon powershot sx 30. ISO 400 shutter 1/40Inspiration
I generally look for more unique flower photos and when I saw this daisy starting to close up I picked it and waked to a lookout point over a lagoon and dropped it in and luckily it landed right side up. It floated for a few minutes enabling me to get this shot.Editing
Not much just cropping and darkening the water a bit.In my camera bag
I have my Canon pwershot and my Sony ILCE-6000 with a macro lens.Feedback
I always try different backgrounds and scenarios when I have a subject that is moveable. It can be lighting, atmosphere or the setting that can change a normal pic to a amazing pic.
