This was shot in a Paris metro on a 4-day phototrip . Wanted to shoot some unusual images there !Time
I travell around the city using my favorit transport in busy cities because sometimes they are very attractive for photography . In this shot ,i was waiting for a load of passengers getting out around evening rush hour.Lighting
The white walls ,and available light created a nice mood and play withe shadows !Equipment
This was shot with a Nikon D750 and the 28-300 travellens from Nikon as well ! Using a Manfrotto tripod to keep it all still during the somewhat longer exposure !Inspiration
I saw an image ones of a model standing frozen in front of people crossing a bussy street with a simular result ! So with this idea i descent into the subway looking for a composition that was able to shoot something what i had in mind ! A friend took the place of the model ;-)Editing
Some basic Lightroom adjustments and a Black & White conversion is all that it needed in my opinion !In my camera bag
Depending on what i have in mind shooting that day i pack my bag with only the necessary stuff ! What i do always check is, enough loaded batteries and empty SD cards , remote controller and a cleaning set for camera and lenses ! For landscape i use a 12mm f2,8 and a 70-200mm f2,8 For portret i use prime 50mm f1,8, macro 105mm f2,8 and 24-70mm f2,8 and occasionally the 70-200mm f2,8 For streetphotography i recently use olympus OM-D 10 mach III with 14-150mm lens ,smaller than a dslr and therefor more incognito work !Feedback
Be patient to take the shot at the exact moment that you are looking for, repeat several times with slight different settings and look for the best result !!! 1/2 a second was the perfect shutterspeed for this shot at f16 ! Good luck and thanks for your interest and time
