This photo was taken in my studio in Kuressaare, Estonia.Time
It was September 11th 2016 at around 7 PM.Lighting
For this photo I did not use any other light then available light from the window.Equipment
I used Camera 5D Mark III, Canon 50 mm F1,2 at F2,8, no other equipment was used.Inspiration
For a long time I have been watching this girls pictures and wanted to make something beautiful together. She got my giftcard and we lost a track of time while shooting. We took many beautiful pictures. Actually it was hard to choose one for this competition.Editing
Yes I retouch my photos pretty much. With Lightroom I make basic post-processing- contrast, colour, shadows etc. Then in Photoshop I use different actions that I have bought. In my camera bag
In my bag there are Canon 5D Mark III and for backup my old 5D Mark II. Lenses: Canon 70-200 mm F2,8, Canon 24-70 F2,8 and Canon 50 mm F1,2. Flashlight just in case- I don't use it very often. Speed light Canon 580EX II. Few batteries and Compact Flash memory cards.Feedback
I like shallow depth of field so I make most my pictures at F2,8 or even wider specially when I have only one model. I use pastel tones in my post-processing and I love contrasts. This backdrop was self made and I am so proud of it. I used acrylic paint and cotton fabric. First I painted fabric with mix of PVA and water and then put some colour on top of there. I bought blouse from e-bay and I put on it some fake flower leaves with tape.
