Location
On the dunes at Stockton, NSW, Australia.Time
Very early morning just after sunriseLighting
Quite soft lighting so worked well for photographyEquipment
Nikon D610, 20mm 1.4 lens, 1/320 sec, IO 250, f8Inspiration
We arrived early in the day to avoid any footprints on the sands. It was the untouched leading lines that drew me into the image, I took the photo from a lower down perspective.Editing
Raw processing in Capture 1,further adjustments in Photoshop ie contrast, sharpening, levels. In my camera bag
Not very much maybe a macro lens, I try to travel light, as on this occasion it was quite a long trek to the area and carrying too much equipment would have been to hard. I usually carry my tripod.Feedback
My only advice is get up early to catch the beautiful light, try different perspectives as you look at the subject, getting down low often give such a different an interesting perspective.
