where was this shot? I feel locations for such photos to be important. I travel a lot and such photos help me choose new places to visit

Location
Its was in Mullerthal, a small town in Luxemburg. This waterfall is called "schiessentumpel" This is region is also called small Swiss LuxembourgTime
The place is far away from my home, but I took the road early enough to arrive on site before 8 am to avoid the crowd of people It was in November but the temperature down was already -1 c°Lighting
In this season the sun is quite low and the scenery is quite high but the sun is sufficiently high to pass between the trees. The colors of autumn make a nice warm effect to the atmosphereEquipment
I used my Camera Canon 5D MK III with my favorite lens canon 16-35 F2.8 LII I never go out without my tripod Manfrotto carbon in order to spare my back :)Inspiration
This waterfall is famous for its romantic and magical aspect Difficult not to be inspired in such a spectacle of nature that accentuates the effect in this magic season for the photographers His bridge emerged from a film of a knight in the Middle AgesEditing
There is actually some post-processing. An accentuation of the warm colors and a little green colors. A little contrast, sharpness and suppression of some parasitic elementsIn my camera bag
My backpack is about 12kg. Not always obvious for hiking but I have a bit of a pain to choose my elements to go hiking. You can find my camera Canon 5D MK III, my wide angle Canon 16-35mm, a very used lens also: Canon 24-70mm. I also have a fish eye for the original shooting. Some ND filters for long exposures, a gorilla tripod for shooting on the ground. An indispensable remote control for long pauses and my tripod Manfrotto Carbon. There are obviously a few memory cards and spare batteries.Feedback
The best advice for this kind of famous place is to arrive early. Tourists love to take self-care with the whole family :) so it will be very difficult to have a photo without tourists if you arrive after 9am. Plan for boots to eventually shoot in the water
