Behind The Lens

Location

We were at Duck, North Carolina, for a family vacation.

Time

This was in the evening. I was able to view a storm over the Atlantic from the cover of a deck of our rental home.

Lighting

The storm provided all the light I needed.

Equipment

I just sat my camera on a picnic table and took many photos. My camera was a Sony alpha 7R.

Inspiration

Will never have a chance again to experience a lightning storm like that.

Editing

In my camera bag

My normal lens is Zeiss FE 4/24-70 lens. I also have a Sony FE 2,8/90 macro and a Tamron SP 70-200 F/2.8. Have just added a Lensbaby Sol 45mm to start playing with.
