I took this photo at an aquarium. It was the first photo I ever took, looked at, and felt proud of.Time
I remember walking around all day at the aquarium with a friend, feeling exhausted, and just as we were about to leave, I saw the tank of jelly fish. It was around 2 or 3 in the afternoon when I captured this shot.Lighting
Even though the tank was extremely dimly lit, there were a few spot lots that really lit up the jellyfish as it floated.Equipment
I took this with a Cannon Rebel t3 with a 18-55mm lens. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
I loved how the jellyfish just looked as though it was gliding in the water. I wanted to keep the image forever.Editing
I did no other processing. In my camera bag
I always carry around my two lenses, an 18-55mm and a 75-300 mm.Feedback
I took this photo through a pane of glass. My advice would be to get as close to the glass as possible without touching it, and to hold steady. Shoot at an angle where the fish is in a good position for the light to almost flow through. Take a few shots from different angles until you find the perfect shot!
