Location
This photo was taken in my home in front of a big bay window.Time
It was taken about mid morning.Lighting
This was natural light from the window. We have a covered porch so it filtered the light even more, making it soft.Equipment
Nikon D750 with an 85 1.4 lens.Inspiration
I wanted to try a really shallow depth of field with the 85 1.4 lens. My little puppy was sleepy so it was good timing. She stayed still so I could concentrate on focusing on her eyes to get them sharp. The photo shoot lasted about ten minutes and then she was tired of me being in her face;)Editing
Just some color and sharpening and a little cropping. In my camera bag
2 lenses and a battery.Feedback
Home window light has a lot of potential for great photos. It creates more shadows and interest. Getting low on the ground is an interesting perspective with animals. The D750 has a flip screen so the camera can be on the ground and I don't have to be breaking my back trying to look through it;)
