Location
This photo was taken a summer evening in southern Finland. Sometimes I just drive around with my camera ready when the sun is going down, and sometimes the results come out rather good :)Time
Late evening a summer day, almost in the twilight-zone :)Lighting
The lighting is what it is with mother nature.Equipment
Freehand with my all-round trusty d5100. I would believe it was shot with the kit lens, 18-55.Inspiration
I am a sucker for sunsets, and shady lighting.Editing
Some minor tweaking on light levels. Nothing extensive. In my camera bag
My bag usually has got in it 3 lenses: 35mm 1,8 Nikon prime, 70-300 Nikon zoom. Aand the kit lens. An underrated underdog, which is really good for many things. The frame is most often the d5100 when outdoors. Also included are some lens wipes, lens-pen kit, some kind of head-wear, and basic camouflage colors. And last, but not least, my trusty tripod.Feedback
Sometimes you just get lucky, by being in the right place the right time. But. Patience patience patience. Knowing your surroundings. Knowing where the sun sets in which time of year. Scout your surroundings, and try to imagine where the shot would get good. Also, knowing your camera, knowing the settings. Play around, try things. Also, a beginners guide to photographing, gives you an good idea in the beginning, about the basics, and from there it is easy to start tweaking around.
