his was Taken at Avalon Pier in Kill Devil Hills NC ,part of the Outer Banks. Avalon is a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike for fishing. I don't fish (my wife does) i just like being around the piers, sometimes talking with peoplTime
took this at Sunrise. just as dawn was breaking. It was a warm start to the day about 65-70Lighting
It was just after dawn. Th early light of the sun rise .The clouds help to diffuse the early lighEquipment
his was shot hand held on a camera I hardly use any more , Sony a 57 and a Sigma 24 2.8 lens. I love that camera unfortunately, Sony no longer supports A Mount camera body by making and selling lenses for themInspiration
I love the Outer Banks. It is my sanctuary away from home. The natural beauty of the Outer Banks is just wonderful. i also love sunrises and sunsets. Sunrises are a reminder that each day is a blessing from the Divine, another opportunity to get it right, to make a difference in the world I got up that day to go to Avalon to enjoy the sunrise and the light was just beautiful . The wavs were low and calm. It was just so peaceful and inviting. It as if the waves, sky, breezes were all inviting you just to come, sit and relax and commune with NatureEditing
I did my basic editing in Lightroom and editing of the sky in Color Effects Pro. I also used a "touch" of Topaz Glow. I wanted the sky to reflect the warm feeling of that day. I wanted the image will warm the hearts and souls of the viewer, just being their and experiencing the moment did mine.In my camera bag
normally now take my Sony 6000 and Sony 6300 and my Sony Rx100m1 for cameras. Lenses my walk around is the 18-105 f4 lens.. I also use the 16-70 Sony-Zeiss f4 and Sigma 30mm 1.4. and also carry a Sony 85 1.8 and a 50 mm 1.8 I very rarely use a tripod when I do its a Tycka 65 inch. But most time I shoot hand help for my landscape workFeedback
Be open for opportunities. I asked Divine to "help me see'. That is always trying trying to be present in the moment. Enjoy the moment ...see the beauty of the moment.. the right now.. because really that is all we have.
