Early evening at sunsetLighting
First few hours of the day and last few hours seem to be the best lighting for me.Equipment

Tripod spare batteries cleaning equip spare SD cards, charges. Recently upgraded to a Sony A7. I have an adaptor to use canon lenses on this. Umbrella.Feedback
Time of day is a big one. Lots of patience to get the right shot. I have taken many shots of the same thing at different times of the day to get the best shot. Research location. Don't be afraid to get your feet wet or climb a few rocks to get the right angles.
