Location
We were on a shoot near a wildlife reserve near Canvey Island, Stopping there afterwards I thought I'd try and capture a slightly different perspective of the pylons.Time
Mid afternoonLighting
Light is key. Always be aware what kind of light you are shooting in and change your white balance accordingly. When shooting in low light I tend to tripod up and if I'm not using a cable release I'll use the camera's 2 sec timer, ensuring a much sharper shot.Equipment
I think I was using an old 350D at the time, great little camera.Inspiration
I wanted something different and original from the generic Electricity Pylon landscapes that you see.Editing
Just a little straightening. In my camera bag
Canon 5D MKII, Canon EF 24-105mm, Canon EF 50 mm f/1.8, TripodFeedback
Just the old cliche - think outside the box, try and change the viewer's perceptive and no matter what, don't be afraid or embarrassed to experiment.
