Location
I took this shot while visiting Richmond, Virginia's Maymount park. An historical park that has a Japanese pond garden. There is also waterfall for cooling off when its warm and animals in a zoo like atmosphere. ( Bears, Camels, Birds of pray, etc.)Time
It was June around 3:30 pm or 4pm.Lighting
Sunny with some clouds. very warm and clear day. slight winds.Equipment
I used a Canon Digital Rebel XTi with a Tamron 18-270mm lense. No flash or tripod was used.Inspiration
Its very rare that the bald eagle appears. one has to travel to photograph them. The eagles at Maymount P ark are injured and cared for, then returned to their natural elements.Editing
I cropped the original, Simple shadow slider, and sharpened with a slight saturation. In my camera bag
I don't carry a bag. All of my camera's are held across my chest and hips. ( Cotton Carrier)Feedback
my only advise would be to scout out locations and get out there and shoot it and shoot what's in it.
