Location
The picture was taken in Bom Jesus do Monte. Is a Portuguese sanctuary in Tenões, outside the city of Braga, in northern Portugal. Its name means Good Jesus of the Mount. I'm a self-taught photographer. I learn something new every day every time I take a picture and photography is a passion for me.Time
This shot was taken when I bought a new camera. I was excited to test it so i woke up very early around 5 am. I did not take any tripod just the camera i had to sit down on the grass and with my elbows on my knees i managed to keep the camera fixed with the Shutter Speed: 1/60. The shot was taken at 7 am.Lighting
Was a foggy morning the lake was like a mirror i thought it would be a good combination to deliver a pleasing image.Equipment
This was shot on a Fuji X100T. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
I love nature. I decided to share the first pictures of my new camera with nature. I took that foggy morning along with the calm lake to frame and mirror the most interesting elements that were around me.Editing
Yes, the basic adjustments. I added some contrast. I also pulled down the Highlights and Whites. I added more Blacks, some Vibrance and Clarity. In my camera bag
I normally have a Canon 70D with the Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens attached to avoid changing lenses, i also have the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens, the Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM Lens, the Fuji X100T and sometimes a macbook pro 13 inch.Feedback
There are many things to photograph in nature at any time of day. Not only in nature but also everywhere. Look around you fell it and capture what your senses tell you to capture not others. I think this way photography evolves.
