The photo was taken at Scarborough Beach, Western Australia. As I am self learning photographer this was mine second time chasing the weather conditions.Time
This is one of my favorite image. For this we started on February 2nd 2015 at around 9 pm in the night from Perth Cbd and ended up at Scarborough beach at around 3am in the morning.Lighting
It was mine second time when I was shooting - lightning. We were getting bolt every 10 to 15 second - in this image on long exposure in 30" - I got 3 to 4 bolts in a single frame.Equipment
It was taken on Canon EOS 60D, LENS Tamron 18-270mm, tripod yellow brand.Inspiration
I am following a Perth Weather Live page on facebook. And time to time they are updating some amazing work from local photographers. Which spark me to cover this as storm chaser and how the climate change.Editing
In this image - processed some parts in adobe raw. Like colors of lighting that they come out and some sharpness and luminance for smooth foreground. In my camera bag
Now recently upgraded the camera body with Canon 5D mark iii, have Canon 60D, Tamron 24-70mm, Sigma 70-200mm, Sigma 10-20mm, Canon 50mm stm, Tamron 90mm macro, Cokin nd n graduated filters.Feedback
Plan out the place you want to capture and check local weather radar. Which gives you more accurate stuff. And be patient and wait for your turn.
