Location
The Picture was taken by the frozen river in late december. After a Cold and clowdy day the sun shows for a few minutes Before it dissapears again.Time
It was taken about noon. In the North the sun doesn't show more than a few hours a day even when the sky is clear..Lighting
The lighting in this Picture is as natural as it can be. Slightly underexposed to Catch the typical pink and blue colorsEquipment
I use a Nikon D810 with a Tamron 90mm macro 1:1 2.8, no other Equipment used for this shotInspiration
I wanted to Catch the typical and spectacular colrs that appears in sunset when it's Cold and the snow increases the effect.Editing
I increased the contrast and luster in the raw file and decreased the blacks just a Little bit .Thats it!In my camera bag
Nikon D810, Nikon D5100, Tamron 90mm SP Di 2.8 macro 1:1, Nikkor 50mm 1.8 Nikkor 18-55mm 3.5-5.6, Nikkor 70-300mm 3.5-5.6, and now a fresh Lensbaby velvet 56 1.6 Nikon SB700 flashFeedback
Be ready to Catch the moment and dress wtih warm clothes! To Catch the colors it is neccesary to slightly under expose..get a feeling of silhouette. Find a composition that ads Deep into the Picture, something in the foreground, in the middle and in the background.
