Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in downtown Hickory NC

Time

This was taken in the afternoon

Lighting

I really wanted to focus on her natural beauty and keep the photo up close, simple and natural - and so I didn't really have a trick, just a look that was simple and beautiful.

Equipment

I used a Sony Alpha 5, no tripod or flash

Inspiration

This photo was inspired just by the subjects beauty and I knew that I wanted it to be simple and black and white.

Editing

I used OnOne and Adobe Lightroom to make slight adjustments such as cropping, increasing exposure and making this photo black and white.

In my camera bag

I usually have my Sony alpha 5, 3 lenses, extra batteries, charges, and memory cards.

Feedback

Use a good portrait lenses, don't be afraid to get very close to your subject and keep it simple!
