From one finalist to another, nicely done!
If you don't mind constructive criticism,
Wolf's shadow looks very unatural. It's way too strong and should be going on the right, as the rim light is left.

Location
I was walking at the park in late afternoon and realized how pretty the trail was covered in leaves and the surroundings looked like a fairy tale place. I thought to myself, this is it! The perfect location for my Little Red Riding Hood theme!Time
This was shot at 6pm. The trail is basically in between the trees (wood) so there wasn't much light hence it had gotten dark pretty fast but the lighting was perfect for my theme.Lighting
During the shoot, I pretty much lost the ambient light since it was getting dark. There wasn't much I could do except bumped my iso higher and use on camera flash but I won't complain because my intentions for this image was to look mysterious. Since she was wearing a bright red cape, it complimented the dark.Equipment
In this shoot I use my Canon 5D Mark III, 50mm 1.4, and a yongnou flash.Inspiration
I grew up playing video games and watching fairy tales movies. I 'm pretty much intrigued by the fantasy world. I loved The Grimm's Brothers and Little Red Ridding was my favorite.Editing
I corrected the white balance in camera raw. In photoshop, gradients were added to the background and painted a few hair strands. Next, overlaying the leaves and wolf. Final step was to do color corrections. It is quite simple! In my camera bag
The first thing I MUSTcheck is my camera battery and memory cards. Can't shoot without them! I have had forgotten to pack at least twice and wasted times going back home to get it especially when the location is far. Next item is obviously my camera, my two most used lens (50mm and 24-70mm), lens filters, flash, last but not least, my reflector.Feedback
Sketch your concept first. Find a location that will go with your theme because it's important. Scout the areas during the time you want to shoot so you will be familiar with the lightings. Last but not least, find a model who is suitable for your theme. Have fun at the shoot and you will produce great images!
