Behind The Lens

Location

Schoharie Valley up state New York

Time

early afternoon over cast day

Lighting

Lighting was not a problem natural defused light

Equipment

hand held

Inspiration

This area is rich in history pre French/Indian war. was once known for and continues to be rich fertile land and has been a farming community since before the mid 1700's Sad to report that there was a severe flood in the area which wiped out an old covered bridge, flooded homes. Unconfirmed reports indicated that the tractor was caught up in the flood and was swept away.

Editing

Besides formatting and converting to black&white with photoshop I can't think of any other processing.

I find over cast days to be great for photographing subjects like this. Photograph when you can! you never know what tomorrow will bring.
