Behind The Lens

Location

I took this at a small campground in central Colorado

Time

Early morning as the sun was rising.

Lighting

Looking for a sunrise photo. Sat out for 30-45 minutes waiting for the right light.

Equipment

Shot with a Canon 80D and a kit lens.

Inspiration

Honestly got lucky with the location. Small pond with highways and city near by. Framed the shot to minimize distractions.

Editing

Not a lot of post processing. Highlighted and brought our the vibrant colors and decreased some clarity to give it a smooth look

In my camera bag

Canon80D.. kit lens, wide angle, and 300mm zoom. Have. 600 zoom but auto focus is not functioning. Desiring a 500mm prime…some day.
