Camera: Olympus E-300 ISO: 200 F/5,6 1/50 sec. 45 mm no flash and no tripod.Inspiration
Madeira, also known as the island of flowers, has a special Mediterranean climate. The island is rich in vegetation, including fragrant eucalyptus forests. Even in winter you can find many species of flowers, because even in winter it does not get cold below 15 degrees Celsius. In the mountains the clouds cling and there it can also snow in this season. The vegetation is limited only to low bushes and grasses. Excursions into the landscape interspersed with hiking trails are a must if you want to experience the island with all its facets. In this location, the warm colors of the vegetation overwhelmed me. The house and the small cottage are special splashes of color and just had to be captured.Editing
If you were on site like me and experienced the colors, then you look at the pictures from the area on your PC and realize that it is absolutely necessary to work with image processing. The picture is now as I saw the landscape. Clear, colorful and with depth. In my camera bag
Today I shoot with Canon cameras. I use the D5 mark IV and also still used my older EOS D6. Lenses Canon: 24-105mm 1:4, Macro lens EF 100mm 1:2.8 and a telephoto lens 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 USM. For my real first photo trip ND filter and good tripod from Rollei complement my equipment. Professionally I am a freelance photojournalist and photographer for business and product photography. Landscape photography will be a new challenge.Feedback
There are incredibly good landscape photographers. From them I learned that you can prepare well if you are keen on a very special subject. Sometimes, however, the beauty of an area suddenly and unexpectedly lies before you. And then it's good to have your camera with you.
