Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in the Everglades in Florida in 2017.

Time

The picture was taken in the late afternoon.

Lighting

The time of day made the picture be perfect as the photo had plenty of light.

Equipment

Took the picture with a canon EOS rebel T3. Tripod.

Inspiration

I had a chance to have some experience with the Florida panthers and my mom actually set me up with a photo shoot with a florida panther that they use to keep people understanding that they are almost gone. From that time on I wanted to see them in their true environment.

Editing

I did bring it in closer as I couldn’t get that close to the panther or it would have been dangerous. They are truly beautiful animals in their environment.

In my camera bag

I always have my canon rebel and a couple lenses. And the tripod.

Feedback

You just have to keep finding the time and have a plan. I have tried to photograph the panthers in central florida but they are difficult to find.
