Location

This photo was taken on my iPhone at the Marina hotel & carvery, Peartree Bridge, Milton Keynes, UK. It was a family birthday meal and we sat together after the meal, out the back of the carvery, where the boats were moored, enjoying the views of the barges and wildlife together.

Time

It was mid/late afternoon between 3pm and 5pm and we were enjoying the mid/late afternoon sunshine.

Lighting

It was a lovely natural sunlit day, we were positioned to enable the sun to work its magic.

Equipment

I took this photo on my iPhone, it was a spur of the moment shot, not planned and just clicked my phone to try to capture the glorious moment of the day.

Inspiration

I love taking photos of animals wildlife and nature, here the shot gave me an opportunity to capture the wildlife and nature in one shot.

Editing

I sometimes use the basic editing tools on my iPhone, crop, adjust brightness etc depending on the shot, on this one I did adjust the brightness and colour ranges but it was not necessary to crop it at all.

In my camera bag

I don’t have any equipment just carry my iPhone with me, I am disabled so am limited on what I can manage to take and use when out and about on my mobility scooter.

Feedback

Capture the moment when and as you see it, hesitate and that moment will be lost to others just kept in your memories.
