Location
This photo was taken across a backyard where I often watch the sunset.Time
It was 4:30ish, still full daylight, but sunset eminent.Lighting
Shortly before the sun sets, the air seems to take on a bright glowing hue. Everything seems brighter, more vivid.Equipment
I captured this with an iPhone, using an app called ProCamera which has a reticle allowing very versatile lighting adjustments.Inspiration
I was actually admiring the starkness of the bare winter trees when night moved in and gave day a slow, soulful kiss. It’s not always this spectacular, so I was fortunate to be there for this capture.Editing
I did a bit of adjusting using SnapseedIn my camera bag
I don’t currently have any additional equipment. Only my iphoneFeedback
The process of growing old has taught me to be more patient, which relates to photography in an increase in the ability to be observant to the world around me. I wish it hadn’t taken so long to learn this valuable lesson.
