Location
I took this photo at home.Time
It was afternoon.Lighting
I used natural light.Equipment
I used a Canon T3i with a 50mm lens and a tripod.Inspiration
I took this photo after a while I got over a deep depression related to a horrible relationship and breakup. I had lost 10kg at the time, and in that photograph I was healthy again. I was feeling good about myself and wanted to make a memory that could remind me how strong I am.Editing
Yes. I'm wasn't very good at editing back then so I did a simple edit to make the colors a little bit more vivid. In my camera bag
I usually carry my camera, my 18-200mm Tamron lens and 18-55mm when I'm not working and my tripod.Feedback
When you want to take a good self portrait you have to know about yourself, your angles, your feelings, what you want to show in the camera. Take time to understand yourself, practice on how you feel more comfortable in front of the camera and you will be able to achieve what you want.
