It was the first time I visited this lake near my house. I wasn't able to go around much as I was late, and the sun was already up. Stayed there for about 10 mins. Disheartened, as I headed back towards the exit, I saw this little fellow perched onto a tree branch, just 4-5 feet away from me. It sat so still till I went closer and clicked this show, that it felt as if it was waiting for me to click to my heart's content. I love kingfishers, and every time I have visited this lake, they never disappoint me.
