Behind The Lens

Location

Okere Falls Walk in New Zealand

Time

It was late afternoon as my partner and I were doing a bush walk along the okere falls area in New Zealand, Even though it was a sunny day the forest is quite dense so the afternoon rays couldn't quite cut it.

Lighting

Trickles of sun rays were coming through so I set it up so it would only capture a bit of her face, makes it more mysterious..

Equipment

A canon 1100D with standard kit lens and a steady hand haha

Inspiration

My Partner is quite an exotic creature so what better place to capture her look then my country's beautiful natural landscape and signature fern. Alluring and mysterious

Editing

A quick sharpen and lowered the brightness a tad

In my camera bag

Just my ole Canon 1100D with the kit lens and also a generic macro lens which I love haha Tripod and some Nd filters etc

Feedback

I find having my camera constantly in my hand I will always be taking snaps non stop...if I have it in my bag/draped over my shoulder I tend to look at shots I could be taking and don't actually do it haha
