Location
This photo was taken in my hometown, the South of Johannesburg in South Africa. It is a photo of an old church that has been there for as long as I can remember. The area around may have started to become a less than welcoming area as it was in previous year, but it's still where I call home.Time
This was taken in the late morning, closer to midday. You can see the sun practically overhead in the middle.Lighting
The only lighting used was that of the sun. Total natural lighting.Equipment
Believe it or not, this was taken with a Samsung Galaxy S5 Smartphone. No fancy cameras.Inspiration
I love to take photographs of things I find interesting or beautiful and share them with the world.Editing
The only changes done were from colour to black and white. In my camera bag
I wish I had a nice Digital camera, but I do not. My budget is very tight at the moment, so the only camera I have is the one on my smart phone. I do however want to invest in a Digital camera someday, once I have managed to save up enough to purchase one so that I can further my photography career.Feedback
Take more than 1 shot of everything you photograph. Keep at it. Believe in yourself. Don't let others discourage you. A photo you might think is horrible today could be your favourite one tomorrow.
