Nice scene, horrible post-process! Sorry but that is not what HDR is all about. Post-processing should be gentle, so as to aid the image, but done sparingly, in small steps... Hope you don't mind me commenting ina critical way!
High Dynamic Range process is very sensible to overdoing, and should be avoided, especially if the original photos are correct enough!
Never mind that people got used to the way it is USUALLY (badly) presented - it is an alienation which does no good to the photos if overdone!
