This was taken at the Como Zoo Butterfly Garden in St.Paul, Minnesota.Time
It was in the middle of the afternoon and it was pretty crowded in there. But so many beautiful butterflies were in this exhibit, I wanted to photograph them all.Lighting
I actually first thought I loved this butterfly in color, but once I turned it into a black and white photograph, I love how the details all seemed to pop out under that bright natural light.Equipment
Honestly...I can't remember if this one was with my phone or with a point and shoot cannon camera!Inspiration
It was a beautiful exhibit. The butterflies are well taken care of so the variety of them in here was so great to see. Everywhere I looked there was a new one to discover!Editing
I just changed it to black and white for another contest and ended up loving it more than the color version. In my camera bag
Seriously...I just travel with my Iphone 8 and my Cannon point and shoot SX610hs.Feedback
Enjoy the moment! Take time to wait for the right capture.
