Behind The Lens

Location

The original photo of the background It was taken on state land roads in Central New York State. The horse was shot at a horse show near Sayre, P.A. The boy is dimmed shot of my son.

Time

The shots were all taken at different times of day. I used a layering effect to create the look of dawn or dusk, depending on the viewer's perspective.

Lighting

Using layers of my images I was able to create a wonderful lighting effect that I believe helped set the mood for the overall composition.

Equipment

This was shot mainly with a canon rebel T6. Layering was done using a basic home laptop by first, editing each image individually, then decide what and how to combine them to create the effect I am going for.

Inspiration

I was having fun creating compositions that are harder for me to produce than a raw image. I love editing, it allows me to take a great image and make it that much better or more interesting to the eye.

Editing

The entire shot is a product of post processing which

In my camera bag

I usually carry in my bag multiple lens and up, uv and polarized filters as well as a tripod and lens cleaner.
