a lot of day light is necessary to realize split shots without strobes

Inspiration

Moorea lagoon is perhaps one of the most beautiful in french polynesia, and it's full of stingrays, small sharks like that one. A really inspiring place... Check my other shots taken in this lagoon on my view bug page

Editing

Feedback

to do a split shot, the most important is the dome. You need a big dome, the big depth of field, and focus on what happens under the surface.
