I turned around and my twins boys were walking away from us with their arms around each others shoulders. I shouted "stop don't move" and took the photo.

I normally have just the basic lens that came with the camera. a 18-55 and a 75-300mm

Always look around when people are walking and be ready to shout stop if you want to capture a moment before it passes.
