Location
This image was taken in southern Wyoming near the Colorado border in the Medicine Bow National Forest. We were riding around on his 4 wheeler when we saw this game trail moving through this perfect "tunnel" of autumn bedecked aspens. It was even more enchanting in person. Being from the Gulf Coast of Texas I don't have the opportunity to witness season changes like this. That night the billowy clouds broke open and we woke up to 12" of perfect snow. Literally overnight I got to see fall and winter. Magical!Time
I believe this was taken around noon. We walked through the stand of aspen, and came out on the other side to a small meadow where harebells were still blooming, and a herd of antelope were grazing in a pasture below us.Lighting
I was just beginning to use the manual settings on my camera, so this was a little bit of a challenge for me. Of course now I know better. It was perfect.Equipment
Nikon D7200, and I'm not sure what lens I used for this.Inspiration
I'm a huge fairy tale enthusiast, and I could just see Little Red skipping down the path to her grandmother's house.Editing
I'm sure I adjusted the exposure, but not a whole lot.In my camera bag
These days I have my D850, a couple of primes, (35, 50, and 90) and my trusty 70-200 2.8. I always keep a Godox V1, and the xPro on-camera trigger for lighting options.Feedback
My best advice is to keep challenging yourself. Every experience is a learning experience, whether the outcome was a "success" or a "failure".
