The best pet you can own. I own 2 and always have at least one Bulldog in the family. Great photo.

Location
This was taken a couple of days after she came home. She was 9 weeks at the time of this photo.Time
Her name is Ginger and this was taken right before her breakfast. So she was giving us the evil eye.Lighting
It was my favorite time for some photos. If was right before a rain storm so very overcast outside. Love animal photography during the overcast lighting.Equipment
I use and still use a Canon MarkD4. My lens is a L series 2.8 24-70mm. Love the DSLR, haven't made the switch to mirrorless.Inspiration
Ginger also gives the best looks at us, even to this day. That is my inspiration taking pictures of her. I want to remember her looks and what better to that with other than a picture.Editing
I try and do very little post processing. I typically use filter to get the effects I would like. My real passion is landscape and seascape photography. For this photo I did not have to perform any processing after it was taken. In my camera bag
I use all Canon products. My body's are MarkD4. All my lenses are L Series lenses (2.8 16-24, 2.8 24-70, 2.8 70-200). For landscape I use Lee filters and Really Right Stuff tripod and ball head with a Tarmac bag.Feedback
I believe animal photography is one of the hardest to perform. They are all ways moving and you miss that perfect background. My advice to get the best chances to photograph animals is to do it when they are tired. This helps the quick movements and they seem to be more photogenic then.
